Position Overview:

The Malco Group is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Marketing Communications & Graphic Design Lead to lead the visual execution of brand communications across digital, email, social and sales support collateral across the Malco Group’s brands and categories. Heavy focus on design for digital/email marketing campaigns, with a heavy focus on the Veto Pro Pac brand.

This position is responsible for elevating the visual identity and design consistency of The Malco Group across all customer touchpoints, including email campaigns, sell sheets, dealer and rep portal assets, promotional materials, QR hangtags, carton stickers, trade show materials, and seasonal campaigns, while also supporting broader Malco Group communications and portfolio storytelling.

The ideal candidate blends strong graphic design expertise with marketing strategy and operational discipline, ensuring every piece of communication not only looks premium, but drives engagement, sales enablement, and brand consistency in the field.

This role also plays a critical part in strengthening Veto Pro Pac’s premium positioning while also contributing to revenue-driving initiatives and enterprise-level communications across ecommerce, distribution, trade channels, and The Malco Group portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Visual Brand Execution

  • Lead the design and production of high-impact visual assets across all Malco Group communications, with a heavy focus on the Veto Pro Pac brand.
  • Design compelling, conversion-focused email templates and campaign graphics.
  • Ensure brand consistency across typography, photography, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Continuously elevate the visual sophistication and premium feel of the Malco Group brand.

Email Marketing & Campaign Design

  • Design and build visually compelling email campaigns that support product launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Collaborate on segmentation and campaign objectives while owning the visual and layout execution.
  • Conduct design testing to optimize engagement, click-through, and conversion performance.
  • Maintain and refine branded email templates for consistency and scalability.

Promotional & Seasonal Campaign Execution

  • Lead creative development and execution of Veto Pro Pac’s Spring Promo and other seasonal campaigns.
  • Ensure promotions are visually cohesive across digital, print and field materials.

Website & Digital Execution

  • Support and maintain key content areas of The Malco Group and individual brand websites, ensuring brand alignment, updated messaging, and cohesive portfolio storytelling across enterprise initiatives.
  • Design and develop visually compelling, conversion-focused landing pages for new product launches across The Malco Group, ensuring consistency in brand execution while optimizing user experience and engagement.
  • Collaborate with product, ecommerce, and communications teams to ensure website content supports launch objectives, promotional campaigns, and sales enablement efforts.
  • Support the creation of digital ad campaign creative and other online or digital assets across The Malco Group portfolio as needed.

Dealer & Rep Portal Management

  • Own content updates, organization, and visual presentation of the dealer/rep portal.
  • Ensure portal materials are current, easily accessible, and visually cohesive.
  • Upload and manage product assets, promotional materials, training resources, and seasonal updates.
  • Partner with Sales to identify gaps and continuously improve the usability and effectiveness of the portal.

Data, Quality & Process Discipline

  • Maintain organized design systems and file structures (DAM/PIM familiarity preferred).
  • Develop repeatable templates and scalable creative processes.
  • Balance speed and creativity with attention to detail and brand standards.
  • Ensure print files meet production specifications and quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required).
  • Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Experience designing for both digital and print environments.
  • Understanding of email design best practices and mobile-first layout principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with sales, product, and leadership teams.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to premium brand presentation.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design and marketing communications roles, agency experience a plus.
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating strong design execution across digital and print formats.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the business and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with product-based or premium brands preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately 10% travel (trade shows and planning meetings).
