Marketing & Communications Manager

Position Overview: The Marketing & Communications Manager will lead the branding, storytelling, and community engagement strategies for BELIEVE Schools. This role is responsible for elevating the visibility of BELIEVE’s mission and impact across multiple campuses, ensuring clear, compelling, and consistent communications with families, partners, donors, and the broader community. The Manager will oversee marketing campaigns, media relations, digital strategy, and internal communications, driving enrollment growth and strengthening BELIEVE’s reputation as a premier educational institution.

Brand & Communications Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications plan aligned to BELIEVE’s mission and strategic priorities.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all schools, campuses, and network-level communications.
  • Lead storytelling initiatives that highlight student success, staff excellence, and community partnerships.

Marketing & Enrollment Strategy

  • Partner with school leaders and operations teams to design and implement targeted student recruitment campaigns.
  • Manage advertising efforts including digital ads, print, billboards, radio, and community outreach.
  • Track and analyze enrollment marketing data to measure ROI and adjust strategies as needed.

Digital & Social Media Management

  • Oversee BELIEVE’s social media presence across platforms, ensuring timely, engaging, and mission-driven content.
  • Manage website updates, SEO, and analytics to improve visibility and user experience.
  • Create digital campaigns that support enrollment, fundraising, and community engagement goals.

Media & Public Relations

  • Serve as primary contact for media inquiries and build relationships with local press and community partners.
  • Draft press releases, talking points, and media kits to support major announcements and events.
  • Prepare leadership and school staff for media engagement and public speaking opportunities.

Internal Communications

  • Develop internal communication systems to keep staff, families, and stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Produce newsletters, parent updates, and community-facing materials that are clear and accessible.
  • Support event communications, including board meetings, fundraisers, open houses, and school celebrations.

Content Creation & Design

  • Oversee development of high-quality marketing materials including brochures, flyers, presentations, and digital content.
  • Manage photography, videography, and storytelling projects that showcase BELIEVE’s culture and impact.
  • Collaborate with vendors, designers, and contractors to deliver polished communications products.

Strategic Planning & Budget Management

  • Contribute to BELIEVE’s long-term marketing and communications strategy.
  • Manage communications and marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective campaigns and vendor management.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in marketing, communications, and family engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations; education or nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, branding, and media relations.
  • Demonstrated success in enrollment marketing or community outreach campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in digital tools including website CMS, email platforms, social media, and design software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel is required

  • Salary: $60,000–$80,000 depending on demonstrated experience.
