Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager with media content creator skills to help us grow our digital footprint and take our marketing efforts to the next level - writing copy, designing graphics, shooting photos and videos, developing engaging content concepts, and producing marketing materials including project flyers, qualification packages, and external marketing communications. This role is designed for a proactive professional who can perform creative content execution. The ideal candidate will be able to translate our technical expertise into compelling digital and print narratives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Content & Social Strategy

Own the social media calendar. Create engaging, visual posts using still photos and long/short form video content that highlight our services to drive business leads (LinkedIn) and showcase culture (Instagram).

2. Website Management

Revamp our existing site. Add new content, fix broken links, and perform security updates. Ensure the website is easy to navigate, responsive on mobile devices, and accessible. Track visitor behavior using tools like Google Analytics to improve performance.

4. Leadership & Project Management

Marketing Committee Leadership: Schedule and facilitate bi-weekly marketing committee meetings. You will be responsible for setting the agenda.

Concept to Completion: Take full ownership of marketing projects, developing marketing material with the support of technical leaders. Whether it’s a brand refresh or a local conference sponsorship, you are responsible for the initial "vision" through to final delivery.

5. Technical Proposal Support

Support preparation of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) with professional layouts in Adobe InDesign or similar software; maintain and expand the project case study and service flyer libraries for all service lines.

Required Skills & Traits

Experience: 2-10 years of marketing/social media experience, preferably with demonstrated work in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction industry (but not required).

Self-Driven & Organized: You thrive in an environment where you manage your own deadlines and prioritize a diverse workload.

Technical Literacy: Comfortable working alongside engineers and scientists to understand technical topics and draw out the "story" that matters to a client or recruit.

Visual Eye: Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro) or similar softwareto maintain a high standard of visual quality.

Meeting Facilitation: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to lead meetings and keep senior technical staff on track with marketing goals.

Creative Photography and Photo/Video Editing: An eye for composition and experience using photo/video editing software.

Qualification Requirements

Demonstrated portfolio of successful social media campaigns and technical writing.
