About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant to support Rakuten Mobile’s marketing and cross-functional teams by building strong points of view (POVs), identifying improvement areas, and enabling data-driven decision-making . The role requires a strategic thinker with deep telecom expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic POVs on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor benchmarking.
  • Partner with Marketing and other cross functional teams to analyze current processes, campaigns and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.
  • Analyze customer behavior across acquisition channels (web, retail, C2C, etc.) to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Identify data-driven opportunities to enhance customer lifetime value and reduce churn.
  • Conduct cohort, funnel, and segmentation analysis to track campaign or channel effectiveness.
  • Provide consultative support to leadership on new initiatives, pilots, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Support in building frameworks and dashboards that track performance, customer acquisition, and retention metrics.


Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in the telecom sector (operator, consulting, or related industry).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving ecosystem and manage multiple priorities.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling concepts.
  • Experience in working on Analytics tool like DOMO, Data Studio.
