Marketing & Content Lead – Rolling Releaf Weed Delivery

Rolling Releaf is a fast-growing cannabis delivery service serving Greater Boston. Our mission is to provide convenient, discreet, and reliable access to premium cannabis products with exceptional customer service. We’re a small, energized team looking for a full-time, on-site Marketing & Content Lead who wants to grow with us and take ownership of our entire marketing ecosystem.
This role is perfect for a hands-on marketer ready to step up, take initiative, and build a portfolio of meaningful work within a high-growth company.
Role Overview
The Marketing & Content Lead oversees Rolling Releaf’s content creation, CRM programs, social media presence, SEO strategy, brand partnerships, and community engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership, our web/SEO team, and our operations staff to drive customer growth, loyalty, and brand momentum.
This is a creative, analytical, and highly collaborative role — ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, organized, and eager to make a direct impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmail, SMS & CRM
- Plan, build, and execute weekly email/SMS campaigns.
- Manage segmentation, automations, and performance optimization.
- Maintain a consistent, engaging brand voice.
- Monitor analytics and identify opportunities for retention and growth.
Content Creation
- Produce engaging marketing content: ads, emails, landing pages, product spotlights, educational guides, and more.
- Write SEO-friendly blog posts, keyword-rich pages, and cannabis education content.
- Develop promotional assets for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand collaborations.
SEO & Web Strategy
- Collaborate with our web team to improve rankings, visibility, and organic traffic.
- Publish consistent, high-quality SEO content.
- Support backlink outreach and digital PR efforts.
- Track performance via GA4, Search Console, and analytics dashboards.
Reputation & Customer Interaction
- Respond promptly and professionally to online reviews.
- Support customer outreach efforts as needed.
- Help maintain Rolling Releaf’s reputation for friendly, reliable service.
Social Media
- Manage posting schedules and engage with customers.
- Create compliant, on-brand content for Instagram and other platforms.
- Track engagement and community growth.
Brand Partnerships & Promotions
- Work with cannabis brands on cross-promotions, giveaways, and co-sponsored campaigns.
- Coordinate holiday promotions (4/20, Green Wednesday, Cyber Monday, etc.).
- Create promotional assets aligned with new product drops and price changes.
Events & Outreach
- Attend or assist in planning community events, educational sessions, and local activations.
- Represent Rolling Releaf professionally in the community.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong analytics skills (GA4, Search Console, CRM reporting, attribution).
- 2+ years in digital marketing, content creation, CRM, or related roles.
- Excellent writing and editing ability.
- Experience with email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo, Alpine IQ, etc.).
- Working knowledge of SEO and keyword research.
- Ability to create basic graphics (Canva or similar).
- Highly proactive, organized, and able to juggle multiple projects.
- Comfortable working primarily on-site to stay aligned with operations.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Cannabis industry experience or strong product interest.
- Photography or light video editing.
- WooCommerce or eCommerce experience.
- Familiarity with paid ads (Meta, Google).
Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary
$75,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience.
Annual Performance Bonus
Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus of 10–20% of base salary, tied to KPIs across:
- CRM & retention
- Campaign + revenue impact
