Marketing Content & SEO Intern

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Content & SEO Intern to support organic growth initiatives across product and category pages, blog content, social media, and more. This role is ideal for someone passionate about writing, topic research, and understanding how content drives search visibility and customer engagement.

This paid internship provides hands-on experience creating content that directly impacts traffic, rankings, and conversions. You'll work closely with our marketing team to enhance our online presence and contribute to impactful campaigns that drive engagement and growth.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

Copy for Creative Assets

  • Support the marketing, creative, and sales teams by writing and editing copy for email campaigns, sales collateral, paid advertisements, and other projects as needed, maintaining a consistent, cohesive brand tone across all customer touchpoints.

Blogs and Long-Form Content

  • Research and produce long-form blog content targeting high-intent organic search queries and keywords.
  • Support routine blog content updates to improve ranking performance.
  • Optimize content structure for SEO and AEO/GEO best practices.

Social Media Strategy

  • Draft and schedule engaging social content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube.
  • Support campaign execution and engagement tracking.

SEO Support

  • Conduct routine technical SEO audits.
  • Update on-page copy to align with keyword strategy and search intent.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to execute SEO enhancements.
  • Assess organic KPI performance metrics and track changes in keyword rankings. Identify wins and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for next steps.

Product and Category Content

  • Write compelling, SEO-optimized product and category descriptions.
  • Translate product features into customer benefits.
  • Align messaging with brand voice and audience needs.

Administrative and Team Support

  • Maintain content calendars and campaign documentation.
  • Organize creative assets and support cross-functional marketing initiatives.
  • Study partner organizations to understand their missions, and support sales, merchandising, and marketing teams in executing ABM campaigns.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for digital marketing campaigns to increase traffic and conversions on e-commerce platforms.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and keyword research tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable researching and synthesizing information.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and experiment.
