Marketing Content Specialist

As a Marketing Content Specialist at National Lift Truck, you will play a key role in supporting and scaling marketing efforts across multiple locations and business lines within our growing business-to-business (B2B) material handling equipment rental, sales, and service company.

This is a hands-on, high-impact position where you’ll work directly with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute print, digital, and content-driven marketing initiatives that support the sales funnel, strengthen the brand, and communicate value to business audiences.

Duties & Responsibilities

Content Creation (Graphic Design, Photo/Video Capture, Copywriting)
  • Create engaging B2B content across digital and print (blog posts, case studies, emails, social media posts, website content, articles, product descriptions)
  • Design marketing materials including brochures, ads, one-pagers, and social graphics
  • Capture and edit photo/video content from job sites, equipment, and company activity
  • Conduct industry research and translate technical or industry-specific topics into clear, valuable customer-facing content.
Social Media & Digital Presence
  • Support and grow company presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram
  • Plan, create, and publish organic and paid social content
  • Monitor engagement and respond to comments/messages
  • Track performance and share insights to improve reach and lead generation
Website, SEO/GEO & Lead Support
  • Update website content, product catalog, create landing pages
  • Support SEO/GEO efforts including keyword research and on-page content updates
  • Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics
  • Assist with managing inbound leads and website form submissions
Marketing Execution & Coordination
  • Execute marketing campaigns and projects based on direction provided
  • Maintain organized content library and marketing assets
  • Ensure consistency with brand voice, messaging, and visual standards
  • Assist with trade shows and marketing-related events as needed
  • Manage branded product inventory and distribution
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or related field (coursework and internships included)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communication, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Strong graphic design and copywriting skills
  • Photography and video editing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a small team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • B2B experience, or familiarity with equipment rental/material handling industry is a plus

Tools & Experience

  • Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Meta Business Suite & Ads Manager experience (a plus)
  • Google Ads (a plus)
  • WordPress or similar website platforms (a plus)
  • Salesforce or other CRM software experience (a plus)
  • Google Analytics or SEO tools (a plus)
  • Familiar with AI tools like ChatGPT (a plus)

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Company headquarters in Franklin Park, IL
  • Full-time, Monday – Friday
  • Office environment connected to the service and rental shop
  • Occasional local travel to industry events & job sites
  • Small-team, collaborative work environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary- $50,000-$60,000/year + bonus opportunities
