Marketing & Content Strategy Intern

SUMMARY: The Marketing & Content Strategy Intern will manage Carolina Medical Lab (CML) brand identity across all digital and physical platforms. This role focuses on content creation, social media management, and the development of promotional materials to keep clients informed of new laboratory offerings and pricing.

REPORTING STRUCTURE: This position reports to the Project Lead and Management Team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Social Media Management: Maintain and grow the organization's presence on Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Content Creation: Produce weekly high-quality content, including short-form videos, staff/expert interviews, and educational posts.
  • Graphic Design: Create professional flyers and digital assets for new test rollouts, updated pricing structures, and laboratory announcements.
  • Strategy Development: Develop a weekly content calendar to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Analytics: Monitor engagement metrics across platforms to optimize reach and audience growth.
  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with the Sales intern to create marketing materials that address specific provider questions or market trends.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all outgoing materials adhere to CMedLab’s professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and basic video editing/graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is preferred.
