We are seeking a high-performance Marketing Manager to take complete ownership of our marketing department, from budgeting and planning to execution and tracking, to ensure we have a steady, consistent flow of high-quality leads year-round.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Budget Management

  • Create, manage, and adjust the Google Ads budget to maintain #1 digital ranking in our service area.
  • Build a 360° “Steering Wheel” marketing system to ensure there are no slow lead periods.
  • Set, track, and manage the marketing budget across all channels.
  • Allocate funds for each marketing department (digital, print, street, social media, affiliate, email).

2. Digital Marketing & Rankings

  • Manage Google Ads, SEO, and Falcon tracking to maintain top rankings across CNY.
  • Re-develop and manage social media (videos, testimonials, and YouTube ads) to increase lead generation.
  • Utilize Craigslist, YouTube ads, and targeted video campaigns for consistent inbound leads.

3. Street & Print Marketing

  • Oversee street marketing operations (sign ordering, tracking, placement, and replacement).
  • Manage and set criteria for the street marketer and their daily/weekly goals.
  • Order flyers, develop flyer distribution schedules (“flyer farming”), and coordinate with SendJim software for delivery.
  • Ensure technicians distribute marketing materials at every cleaning job.

4. Lead Tracking & ROI Reporting

  • Track all marketing activities in a weekly ROI report.
  • Monitor leads generated from each channel and optimize based on performance.
  • Oversee the sales department to ensure maximum upselling, lead capture, and script usage.
  • Identify and close gaps in missed leads.

5. Email & Customer Relationship Marketing

  • Maintain a weekly email marketing schedule targeting the customer base.
  • Manage top clients with selective, personalized marketing sequences.
  • Build an affiliate marketing program with similar businesses for lead exchanges.
  • Foster relationship marketing with customers for referrals and repeat business.

6. Brand & Asset Management

  • Oversee ordering of T-shirts, signs, and branded marketing materials.
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand standards.
  • Create service-specific marketing campaigns throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • Proven marketing management experience in a service-based business.
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, SEO, and ROI tracking.
  • Ability to lead a small marketing team and coordinate with sales/operations.
  • Organized, data-driven, and creative problem solver.

Location: North Syracuse, NY (with local travel)
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Full-time, year-round
