As we continue to grow and innovate, we seek a passionate Marketing Assistant to join our team.
**Role Overview:**
As a Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Brand Manager and marketing team in developing and executing brand strategies. You’ll help manage brand assets, conduct market research, and assist in creating and implementing campaigns that elevate our presence and storytelling. This role offers a unique blend of office work and hands-on participation in media shoots on the beach and in the water, including surfing, outrigger canoe paddling, and other ocean-based activities — essential elements of our creative production process. A key part of this role is helping to share the legacy of the Waikīkī Beachboys, honoring their spirit, traditions, and deep connection to the ocean. Every campaign and story you help craft should reflect genuine respect for Hawaiian values while celebrating the timeless aloha that defines life on Waikīkī Beach.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist in developing and implementing brand strategies and marketing plans.
- Help organize and coordinate marketing events and campaigns.
- Create, edit and schedule content according to the current marketing outlook.
- Contribute to the creation of promotional materials and presentations.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to offer insights and recommendations.
- Manage and update the company's website and social media, including replying promptly to messages and comments, and engage with other relevant accounts.
- Create and manage monthly email newsletter campaigns.
- Provide support in managing brand partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations.
- Assist in monitoring brand performance and the effectiveness of marketing activities.
- Support the Brand Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks.
**Requirements:**
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Cap Cut, InShot or other creator editing apps/programs.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree (or in school) in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field a plus.
- Proficiency in social media apps (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
- Creative thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of brand principles and marketing strategies.
- Monday- Friday availability; with flexibility for occasional weekend media shoot and event commitments.
