Marketing Coordinator

to help us tell our story and connect with our customers.


The

Marketing Coordinator

plays a key role in promoting the products, services, and culture of our multi-industry small businesses. This is a hands-on position for someone who loves variety, from creating engaging content and managing social media to organizing events and coordinating photo/video shoots. You'll work closely with our leadership team, design and field staff, and external partners to strengthen our brand identity, build community engagement, and deliver cohesive marketing across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the social media presence for 2-3 small businesses under the Horizons East umbrella.

  • Develop original content (photos, videos, captions, blogs) that reflects our company's voice and values.

  • Write, edit, and proofread marketing copy for campaigns, events, and digital platforms.

  • Design and schedule posts across social media channels to drive engagement.

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews in real time.

  • Maintain brand consistency and tone across all media.

  • Track and report on social media performance metrics in coordination with the Digital Marketing Specialist.

  • Plan and coordinate company events, open houses, appreciation gatherings, and community sponsorships.

  • Assist with the design and ordering of promotional items, merchandise, and marketing collateral.

  • Manage photography and videography, from scheduling and directing shoots to basic editing and asset organization.

  • Prepare renderings, cut sheets, flyers, and other visual content.

  • Maintain and update websites with new content and visuals in coordination with the Digital Media Specialist.

  • Partner with the Digital Media Specialist to analyze campaign data, lead sources, and audience engagement.

  • Collaborate across departments (sales, design, construction) to ensure brand alignment.

  • Coordinate with outside vendors, media contacts, and community organizations.

  • Manage Google, Yelp, and other online reviews to maintain a positive public reputation.


Qualifications

  • Passion for social media and creative storytelling.

  • Proficient with major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Suite, Later, Canva, HootSuite).

  • Strong writing, editing, and visual design skills.

  • Familiarity with graphic design, photo/video editing, and digital content tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Knowledge of social trends, engagement strategies, and analytics tools.

  • Experience in construction, real estate, or homebuilding marketing is encouraged but not necessary.

  • Event planning or community relations experience.

  • Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.


Pay & Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 Employee.

  • Pay: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
