MARKETING COORDINATOR – GRASSROOTS COFFEE COMPANY AND GRASSROOTS COFFEE ROASTERS

Job Type: Full-time, salary FLSA - Exempt

Location: Tallahassee, FL/Thomasville, GA/Hybrid-Remote

Typical Schedule: 40 hours wk/Flex times

The Marketing Coordinator position is an evolving role in the Grassroots Coffee companies as both accomplish strategic plan initiatives aimed at our core values of Growth, Stewardship, and People. The role is primarily focused on print and social media, some website duties and with additional responsibilities for other marketing objectives as appropriate.

Job Responsibilities WILL include:

• Developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns
• Managing brand presence across multiple platforms with content creation and implementation
• Responding to all social media comments and messages using brand voice
• Tracking sales data, maintaining databases, preparing reports

Job Responsibilities MAY include:

• Preparing marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
• Keeping promotional materials and website updated
• Completed other marketing projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Traits:

• MUST HAVES: INITIATIVE, ENERGY, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, FOLLOW-THROUGH
• Direct marketing, primarily social media and email marketing
• Videography with iPhone and digital camera
• Project Management/Coordination
• Simple graphic design (preferred)
• Ability to understand analytics and click-through strategies
• Ability to accomplish basic website coding and design (preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor’s in advertising/communications/public relations or marketing or equivalent of education and 1+ years of experience
• Preferred candidate with have experience managing social media marketing, SEO/SEM, marketing/email databases, and/or display advertising

Grassroots Coffee was started in Thomasville, Georgia in 2009. In the beginning, we roasted coffee beans in the front of our small coffee shop where we served our local community. Over the years, our roasting operation moved to a larger facility to better serve our café partners and customer demand coast-to-coast. Today, with continuous innovation and hard work, Grassroots Coffee is enjoyed coast-to-coast. Our fans have grown, but our commitment to making high-quality, small-batch coffee remains the same as it did on day one.

Pay: From $33,000.00 per year
