American Heritage Textiles, a wholesale distributor of home décor and fashion textiles located in Shepherdsville, Ky is looking for an innovative Marketing / Web Coordinator with experience in B2B and B2C marketing strategies. This individual needs to be capable of collaborating closely with other departments and members of the organization maintaining open communication creating an atmosphere where all ideas can be expressed freely.

Requirements:

Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field. Minimum two (2) years of marketing and product management experience (assessing market and branding needs, managing product life cycles, and targeted marketing campaigns).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Marketing Innovation: Work with the sales manager to help develop and implement cutting edge Marketing approaches including guerilla marketing

Help oversee monthly and annual marketing plan in support of company business goals & budget

Collaborate closely with sales team to develop sales collateral content and materials

Help oversee technical and marketing aspects of web projects and partner with the sales and IT team to continually drive improvements in functionality of the site

Ensure effective e-mail marketing strategies and their successful execution through the design, creation, and implementation of e-mails that correlate to existing marketing promotions

Measure, track and report performance of campaigns

Investigate and understand the needs of our customers through various means of research

Utilize appropriate resources for managing market segments, product attributes, and competitive information in a manner that can be consistently applied in the future

Advance the methodology used to consistently evaluate how well AHT products (and competitor’s products) deliver on the attributes customers use to make purchase decisions and to allow for meaningful comparisons

Help develop a format and methodology for capturing competitive information from the marketplace

Provide customers with artwork, graphics, copywriting and finished promotional materials

Work to develop lifestyle photography that will capture images that reveal a story on new product and collections.

Write and distribute timely status reports that update management regarding all marketing and product management initiatives and activities

Help oversee and furnish and design graphics, booths and promotional literature for tradeshow exhibits

Help oversee, design and publish trade catalog.

Physical demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
