The Marketing Coordinator supports the General Manager in executing marketing, sales, and outreach efforts that drive guest stays, group bookings, events, and community visibility for the hotel. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, assisting with sales coordination, event planning, promotions, community engagement, and administrative marketing tasks. We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our innovative marketing team. In this role, you will drive the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate brand visibility, engage target audiences, and support business growth across multiple channels. <Duties>

  • Assist with group bookings, catering inquiries, and event coordination
  • Conduct cold calls and follow-up outreach to local businesses, organizations, and partners
  • Support hotel tours for prospective group, corporate, and event clients
  • Help track leads, inquiries, and bookings using spreadsheets and internal tools
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and promotional outreach
  • Support mail-outs, flyers, and promotional materials
  • Help manage and update social media platforms under direction of the GM
  • Assist in identifying and executing opportunities to drive new business to the hotel
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print channels, including social media, email marketing, and advertising sales initiatives.
  • Manage content creation, copywriting, and content marketing efforts to ensure compelling messaging that resonates with B2B (business-to-business) audiences.
  • Optimize website content using SEO best practices and manage WordPress platforms to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline campaigns, nurture leads, and improve overall marketing efficiency.
  • Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and industry insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics and other analytics tools; prepare reports to measure ROI (return on investment) and optimize future efforts.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for print advertising, digital ads such as Google AdWords and Facebook Advertising, ensuring alignment with brand standards and budget constraints.

<Requirements>

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, social media marketing, multichannel marketing, and performance marketing strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for content creation and campaign assets.
  • Knowledge of SEO techniques, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising, and email marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with HTML basics and WordPress website management for content updates and optimization.
  • Excellent research skills combined with copywriting expertise to craft engaging content tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in B2B marketing environments with a focus on product management, advertising sales, or e-commerce is highly desirable.
  • Attend Chamber of Commerce meetings, tourism meetings, and networking events
  • Represent the hotel at community and social events alongside the General Manager
  • Build positive relationships with local partners, organizations, and vendors
  • Maintain and update marketing, sales, and contact spreadsheets
  • Mix of office work, on-site hotel activities, and community events
  • Occasional evening or weekend events may be required
  • Assist the GM with event planning, group business coordination, and scheduling
  • Support internal coordination between front desk, housekeeping, and banquet/event operations as needed
  • Perform additional marketing and sales-related tasks as assigned
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively while coordinating multiple campaigns simultaneously; strong organizational skills are essential.
