Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator supports The Park RVA’s marketing efforts through website management, graphic design, email marketing, menu design, and event coordination. This role does not manage social media but will collaborate with the social media lead and Community Engagement Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Digital Updates
- Update monthly event pages, hours, DJs, line dancing, and space information
- Maintain Apple Maps and Google Business profiles
Graphic Design
- Create internal and external marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, including:
- On-site screens, table tents, menus, and private event guides
- Billboards, rack cards, coupons, business cards, brochures, and promo materials
- Newsletter graphics
Email Marketing
- Design and send monthly and weekly newsletters
- Upload and manage contact lists from website and Flashpack
- Support growth of newsletter sign-ups
Community Engagement Support
- Assist with relationships involving nonprofits, universities, local businesses, and apartment communities
- Help coordinate tabling opportunities and respond to Google Reviews
Event & Activity Coordination
- Help ideate and coordinate public events and ticketed parties
- Manage Eventbrite listings and Facebook Events
- Upload ticket links to Beacons
Menu Design
- Design and update food, cocktail, patio, and special event menus
- Coordinate printing and ordering
Analytics
- Review Google Analytics and apply basic SEO best practices to improve website visibility
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Experience with website updates and email marketing preferred
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
