Summary
Grand Central Terminal (GCT) and Grand Central Madison (GCM) are world-recognized as centers of regional transportation, civic architecture, and commerce – all at once embodying the historic, economic, cultural, and optimistic spirit of New York City. Spinoso Real Estate Group (SREG) serves as the Retail Property Manager on behalf of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Metro North for these premier New York City landmarks, tasked with managing the retail portion of the terminals to the standards set by MTA stakeholders.
The Marketing Coordinator will support the Senior Marketing Manager and marketing team with tenant relations for GCT/GCM. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. GCT and GCM combine for over 85 tenant retail partners. The Marketing Coordinator will work amongst a skilled marketing team, ensuring tenant support and contributing to campaigns that position GCT/GCM as a premier New York City destination. The ideal candidate will excel at maintaining strong tenant relationships, coordinating marketing assets, and supporting the team with clear communication and thorough documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Foster strong relationships with GCT/GCM retail tenant partners through regular check-ins and responding to requests and inquiries. Serve as a point of contact for tenant inquiries related to marketing support, promotional opportunities, and event participation.

Conduct regular visits and calls with individual tenants to stay current on tenant promotions, products, retail calendars, and collect relevant information to share with the Marketing Manager for inclusion in eblasts and social media content.

Manage internal tenant communications including drafting and deploying eblasts to tenants from alerts to events and marketing opportunity announcements.

Maintain an ongoing tracker of notable tenant happenings to share with PR firm for consideration.

Contribute to the Grand Central editorial vision and storytelling via collecting photos and info., drafting copy, and supporting content development in partnership with the Marketing Manager.

Track tenant marketing support to ensure balanced attention to all tenants and document engagement activities.

Aid the Sr. Marketing Manager on tenant onboarding, including but not limited to attending new tenant intro meetings, walk throughs, responding to follow-up emails, and coordinating on store launches and opening promotions.

Host photography vendors and/or creative agency for tenant photo shoots, ensuring smooth coordination and timely completion.

Maintain organized files for all tenant information including directory maps, eblast distribution lists, contacts for marketing/PR/decision makers, and tenant photography archives for storefronts and product images.

Serve as the point person for any tenant changes required to the Grand Central website, including but not limited to adding new tenant info., changing page copy and photos, updating tenant directory, and any minor troubleshooting.

Assist with the ideation, development, and production of retail marketing promotions and activities that support tenant retail marketing objectives and provide additional experiences to incentivize visitors to GCT/GCM.

Manage kiosk poster inventory and manage tenant requests, ensuring posters are updated and coordinating with engineers for timely installation.

Coordinate tenant product or information needed for window displays and ongoing special projects.

Support the Senior Marketing Manager with recaps and reporting needs, compiling data and preparing summary documents as requested.

Support the marketing team with event coordination for tenant participation in public programming as needed.

Track, organize, and keep updated all marketing inventories including, but not limited to, posters and all event materials/equipment.

Cooperate on special marketing projects for MTA and SREG, as requested.
Qualification Requirements

Availability to be on-site throughout the week with occasional weekend and holiday availability as needed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Highly organized individual with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.

Proven personable and professional attitude with a desire to be collaborative.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or equivalent.

Familiarity with social media platforms and content management basics.

Ability to work comfortably in a professional and fast-paced setting.

Basic understanding of marketing principles and tenant/retail environments preferred.
Education and/or Experience
-
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) preferably in marketing, communications, or related field from a four-year college or university preferred; Associate degree required.

One to two years of related marketing, administrative, or customer service experience in a relevant field.
