MARKETING COORDINATOR


Job Summary

To support the Marketing Team in carrying out the responsibilities of the department. This position’s primary goal is to build relationships, brand awareness, and compelling marketing communications materials that showcase Pacific Rim Group of Companies expertise. The role will support the business development, marketing, and proposal function in performing industry research, developing compelling analysis and tracking potential opportunities.


This position will also support the Organizational Development team in creating training presentations and planning events focused on workforce and talent development, as well as performing administrative tasks when required.


Reports to Director of Marketing and Organizational Development


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support the marketing and business development team with the following:

  • Provide design and graphic support on marketing collaterals, such as brochures, presentations, proposals, interviews, meetings, etc.
  • Quality assurance and quality control of marketing materials/technical documents.
  • Maintain the Pacific Rim Group of Companies and its wholly subsidiaries brand throughout all deliverables.
  • Maintain CRM database (Unanet/Cosential) and coordinate with the corporate office, jobsite office, and wholly subsidiaries of Pacific Rim Group of Companies.
  • Maintain vendor relationships.
  • Assist with social media calendar, graphics, and content for posts.
  • Oversee organization of procurement, marketing and business development file structure.
  • Assist with daily correspondence, communications, appointments, etc., for the Director.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for the Director, including, but not limited to, time management, schedule management, travel, business development filing, couriers, handling of confidential information, etc.
  • Manage and coordinate company events and social functions.
  • Represent the firm well to external organizations, clients, and vendors.
  • Coordinate and assist the Supervisor regarding team meetings, interviews, and team goals/tasks, etc.
  • Assist in quality checking graphics, writing, or any form of materials/collaterals produced by other team members before reviewing of the director and supervisor.

Support the organizational development team with the following:

  • In collaboration with the HR Department, supports development of training materials (i.e. presentations for live and recorded LMS training) for learning programs, mentorship programs, and career development journeys in partnership with subject matter experts (e.g., leadership development, HR, functional leaders).
  • Support in maintaining the Learning Management System with updated training calendar, information, materials, etc.
  • Partners with employee communications to support workforce training deliverables.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, strategic communications, journalism, or graphic design.
  • Two years of experience in content management and technical or creative writing
  • Extensive knowledge of skills development and capacity-building strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in office and business administration software.

  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Adapt to changing situations daily.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
