Marketing Coordinator
Location: Austin, Texas (In-Office / Hybrid)
Reports to: Founder / Marketing Lead
Employment Type: Part Time (10-15 hours per week)
Compensation: $20/hour
About the Role
We are hiring a Marketing Coordinator to support and execute the day-to-day marketing initiatives of a growing brand. This role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is eager to gain hands-on experience across email, SMS, social media, and content production.
This is a highly execution-focused role. You will be responsible for building campaigns, creating content, organizing marketing calendars, and supporting photoshoots—ensuring that ideas move efficiently from concept to launch.
You should enjoy both the creative and analytical sides of marketing—designing visuals while also understanding performance, data, and customer behavior.

Core ResponsibilitiesEmail Marketing (Klaviyo Required)
- Build and schedule weekly email campaigns in Klaviyo
- Support and optimize automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, etc.)
- Segment audiences based on customer behavior and lifecycle
- Write subject lines and preview text with performance in mind
- Conduct A/B testing and document learnings
- Monitor list health, deliverability, and engagement trends
- Pull and report on weekly performance metrics (Revenue, CTR, CVR, AOV)
SMS Marketing
- Build and schedule SMS campaigns aligned with email strategy
- Maintain compliance and opt-in best practices
- Track performance and support optimization efforts
- Ensure messaging is timely, relevant, and on-brand
Social Media & Content Execution
- Assist in planning and maintaining a consistent content calendar
- Create graphics and visual assets for posts and campaigns
- Write captions aligned with brand voice and positioning
- Schedule content using social tools
- Track engagement and identify trends or opportunities
- Support in-office content creation days (when applicable)
Photoshoot & Content Production Support
- Assist in planning and coordinating photoshoots (timelines, shot lists, prep)
- Support on-site during photoshoots (styling, product prep, organization)
- Ensure products, props, and materials are ready and accounted for
- Help manage communication with photographers and creative partners
- Organize and catalog photoshoot assets post-shoot for marketing use
- Ensure assets are delivered and accessible for email, social, and web use
Graphic Design & Asset Creation
- Design email graphics (headers, banners, product features)
- Create promotional assets for social media and campaigns
- Resize and adapt creative for multiple platforms
- Maintain visual consistency across all marketing channels
Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in marketing or related field
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo (required)
- Experience building and executing email campaigns
- Basic understanding of segmentation and lifecycle marketing
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
- Strong written communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable working with deadlines and managing multiple projects
Preferred Skills
- Shopify experience
- SMS marketing platforms
- Exposure to analytics or marketing dashboards
- Understanding of e-commerce marketing funnels
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
