The Mountain America Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives for concerts, sporting events, family shows, and community programming. This role plays a key part in delivering cohesive marketing campaigns by assisting with digital content, promotional efforts, and event-day execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Campaign Support

Assist in executing marketing campaigns for a variety of events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all platforms

Support maintenance of marketing calendars and promotional timelines
2. Social Media & Content Development

Assist with planning, scheduling, and publishing content across social media platforms

Monitor audience engagement and support community management

Capture photo and video content during events
-
Design basic graphics and edit shortform video content for digital use
-
Assist in writing captions, website content, and promotional copy
3. Email, SMS & Digital Marketing

Assist with building and scheduling email and SMS campaigns

Maintain subscriber lists and ensure messaging is accurate and timely

Update website event pages with current event details and ticketing information
4. Event Marketing & Execution

Provide onsite marketing support during events, including content capture and fan engagement

Assist with promotions, giveaways, and invenue marketing elements such as signage and digital displays
5. Community & Promotional Outreach

Support grassroots marketing efforts, including distribution of promotional materials

Assist with local partnerships, media promotions, and ticket giveaways
6. Artist Hospitality Support

Assist with preparation of artist and crew gifts

Support backofhouse hospitality setup and presentation
7. Reporting & Organization

Assist with tracking marketing performance, including social engagement and campaign results

Maintain organized marketing assets and assist with postevent recaps

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) and social media management tools.

Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and a strong portfolio showcasing creative design work.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, promoters, and venue partners

Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

Available to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays

After opening in November 2022, the Mountain America Center is Eastern Idaho’s gateway for live entertainment! This community gem provides 27,000 square feet of event space within the arena space, along with an additional 11,000 square feet of meeting space in the Blue Cross of Idaho Conference Center. The Mountain America Center hosts the Idaho Falls Spud Kings, the NCDC 2024-25 Dineen Cup National Championship winning junior level ice hockey franchise and hosts a multitude of unique events with the ability to seat 6,000 guests.
