Sun City Grand/The Grand is premier active, age-restricted community in Arizona. We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team!

The Marketing Coordinator produces content that supports the promotional needs of The Grand, a 45+ resort-style, active adult community. Attention to detail and knowledge of digital and print media tools are needed to publicize information to residents, prospective residents and business partners. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator will have a specific focus on supporting email marketing, print and digital advertising, and the Community Association social media accounts. This position has a great deal of contact with residents, visitors, business partners and the Community Association Management (CAM) staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops, proofs and edits promotional content to market the amenities, services, and activities at The Grand to both internal and external audiences;
  • Plans, creates and distributes email newsletters that send to all community residents;
  • Coordinates advertising for The Grand Lifestyles monthly magazine, including following up on requests from potential advertisers, ensuring current ads meet design requirements, sending monthly reminders to advertisers, and organizing contracts and payments.
  • Produces content for the official social media accounts for The Grand, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn;
  • In collaboration with the Media Coordinator, designs graphics and digital content for media channels including websites, social media, email, and print collateral;
  • In collaboration with the Media Coordinator, photographs and takes video footage of events and activities occurring in The Grand for use on digital channels;
  • Adheres to the procedures and production timelines for email newsletters, social media channels and The Grand Lifestyles magazine
  • Supports the Association and resident volunteers by setting up Zoom meetings/webinars, running slides, and recording videos of events;
  • Ensures digital content reflects brand standards; and
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, journalism or other related discipline preferred
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience performing a range of marketing or communication duties
  • Ability to drive multiple projects with overlapping timeframes
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva (Experience with Adobe Illustrator Photoshop or InDesign a plus)
  • Meta Business Suite experience preferred
  • Comfort with working directly with residents and representing the department with business partners
  • Photography skills a plus
  • Must possess, maintain, a valid Arizona driver’s license

Must be organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and a team player and able to prioritize and enjoy a variety of assignments. May need to work evenings and weekends. Must be a self-starter and have a positive attitude and have an out-going personality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
