Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and driven Marketing Coordinator to support our growing marketing team. This role will report directly to the Sr. Marketing Manager and collaborate cross-functionally with product development, design, and sales teams. The Marketing Coordinator will play a supportive role in executing marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision and goal with an emphasis on brand storytelling across packaging, e-commerce, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate is a strong copywriter with a passion for consumer products and brand communication, with experience developing compelling copy for packaging, e-commerce listings, social media, and sales materials. This role will play a key part in ensuring brand messaging is engaging, accurate, and consistent across all consumer touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and adapt brand-forward copy for product packaging, e-commerce listings, Amazon content, social media, and marketing collateral.
  • Assist in managing and optimizing e-commerce content including product titles, bullets, descriptions.
  • Support social-first marketing initiatives through caption writing, content coordination, and campaign support.
  • Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy, grammar, tone, and brand voice consistency.
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure packaging copy aligns with brand guidelines, legal requirements, and consumer messaging.
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and creative assets across multiple marketing projects.
  • Assist in the creation and organization of creative briefs and marketing assets.
  • Support trade show planning and execution, including coordination with vendors and on-site logistics.
  • Work with third-party vendors to help ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Provide on-site support for trade shows or events, including setup and breakdown as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, Journalism, English or a related field.
  • NYC-based with a flexible schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
  • 2+ years of marketing, copywriting, content marketing, or brand communications.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with the ability to write for multiple formats and audiences.
  • Experience writing product copy for packaging, e-commerce listings, retail, or social media preferred.
  • Understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO-friendly product copy and marketplace content standards, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with social media platforms, content management, or digital marketing support is a plus.
  • Interest in consumer goods, licensing, pet, or household brands is a plus.
  • NYC-based with a flexible hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
