Marketing Coordinator

AWR Music Productions, the producers of many phenomenal global tours including Distant Worlds: music from FINAL FANTASY, NieR:Orchestra Concert 12026 [YoRHa], FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Orchestra World Tour, and The Music of SQUARE ENIX - Magic, Memories, and Melodies, seeks a marketing coordinator with a growth mindset. The ideal candidate will be a disciplined self-starter who is able to follow exacting instructions and direction, ask clarifying questions, and embrace adaptation. We are also looking for someone who is passionate about live concert music.

THE POSITION – MARKETING COORDINATOR

This position is for those who are interested in concert production and especially promotion. The position will necessarily result with an array of experiences in the live performance business, and will interact with a variety of markets. The ideal candidate should be able to dedicate 15-20 hours a week to this job with reliable turnaround times and communication. They will need to be able to track their hours and demonstrate productivity.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

* Create graphics for social media and other marketing efforts
* Assist with social media marketing: posts, ads, and related duties
* Coordinate marketing efforts for performances worldwide, including correspondence and contact with a variety of media and institutions (under the direction of AWR principals)
* Research current marketing methods that have proven effective for other similar organizations
* Write and send out press releases to relevant members of the press about upcoming concerts in different geographical areas

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* A Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in Graphic Design or related discipline including other business and/or marketing programs
* Ability to follow very specific directions in a fast-paced environment
* Creative thinker/problem solver with full attention to detail
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to write e-mails and communicate with third parties in a professional manner and tone
* Ability to adapt in real time as directed to a constantly evolving marketplace and conditions
* Experience with social media marketing or with graphic design programs
* Prior experience marketing live music events preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27.50 - $32.50 per hour
