Marketing Coordinator

McMillan Rifle Stocks is a medium sized business in Phoenix, AZ. We manufacture rifle stocks using a combination of modernized and hand crafting methods to achieve the high quality our customers demand.

Defiance Machine is considered the largest manufacturer of custom rifle actions and prides itself on the quality of its work and the customization of its options. The Defiance team works together to strive to be better by design, embodying the concept of defying mediocrity to achieve more.

McMillan and Defiance are both part of the Extreme Group. We are looking for an experienced marketing coordinator that is self motivated and has a broad range of marketing implementation experience to represent both brands. The ideal candidate has both a creative mindset and the ability to manage tasks and get marketing projects across the finish line.

Some travel may be required for company sponsored events and competitions.

This position would work from our office in Phoenix, AZ or Columbia Falls, MT.

Daily responsibilities:

• Manage and execute marketing campaigns with marketing team. Including creating, gathering, and organizing marketing assets and brand guidelines as needed.
• Develop sales programs with the sales team, creating and updating tools for the sales team as requested.
• Manage and execute sponsorship and industry partner programs.
• Manage and execute PR/communication program through email blasts and press releases.
• Manage and execute SEO program through blogs and creating/updating SEO optimized pages.
• Manage and execute advertising program.
• Manage and execute merchandising program.
• Assist social media manager with content generation through photography and videography as needed.
• Create/update website pages as needed using Wordpress, WooCommerce, and a “what you see is what you get” visual editor tool.

Requirements:

• Experience in Brand and Product Marketing (3+ years).
• Organizational skills such as project management, time management, and attention to detail.
• Creative skills with copy writing, graphic design, and photography/videography.
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), MS Excel, and Canva. Adobe Photoshop skills preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both within the team and externally with customers, vendors, industry contacts, etc.

Additional Job Details:

• One position is available.
• Full time, 40 hours per week.
• Four 10-hour days per week, Monday through Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm.
• No remote positions available. This position requires you to be able to reliably commute to one of our two main locations listed below.

Dress code is casual, such as jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers. For your safety and the safety of others, we do not permit shorts, open toed shoes such as sandals, or any type of loose clothing that could get caught in machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
