About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on marketing professional to join our team. In this role, you will spearhead strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

This role is supported by others across the company, yet it functions as a one-person marketing department, making it perfect for someone who thrives with ownership and autonomy. Title and compensation will align with experience and capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Research and monitor industry trends, competitors, and marketing opportunities.
  • Support website projects, updates, and related digital initiatives.
  • Lead outbound and inbound marketing efforts, including content creation, optimization, and editing.
  • Coordinate with external marketing agencies on special projects and strategic goals.
  • Plan and manage trade show participation — logistics, booth design, setup, and post-show follow-up.
  • Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, web traffic) to refine strategies.
  • Conduct market and product research to identify new opportunities and applications.
  • Write and edit marketing content for blog, email, and print materials.
  • Manage SEO, Google Ads, PPC, retargeting, and other digital marketing efforts.
  • Partner with the sales team on channel development (distributors, resellers, and online sales).
  • Develop videos and other digital media to promote products and capabilities.
  • Maintain brand consistency across internal and external communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience.
  • B2B, industrial, and product-based marketing experience required (in lieu of, applicants will not be considered).
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO and social media.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret metrics and turn insights into action.
  • Experience working in samll to mid-sized organizations (approximately 25 - 75 employees).
  • Excellent writting, editing, and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.

Required

  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Mechanical aptitude and general interest in manufacturing, sciences, and technology.
  • Proven experience as marketing coordinator or similar role, experience at an agency is a plus.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with absolute attention to details.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing practices (including traditional and digital marketing practices such as basic SEO, content population via WordPress and email marketing campaigns).
  • Ability to learn, comprehend, and thrive with new information and topics in order to become more knowledgeable and effective within your position.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics tools and ability to make conclusions from data presented, results oriented and highly analytical.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite, marketing software (Adobe Creative & CRM systems) and other applications (web analytics, Google Adwords).
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills catered to an industrial, engineering, or B2B audience with excellent spelling and grammatical proofreading abilities.
  • Strong dependability and reliability.
  • Effective communication skills and team player mentality.
  • Willingness to learn and try new things.
  • Pride in work and desire for self-improvement.
