Marketing Coordinator & Content Creator

We're hiring someone who can run paid ads and make the creative that goes in them. You'll manage real campaign budgets across Meta, Google, Reddit, and TikTok while producing the short-form content those campaigns need. Performance bonuses when ads convert and when content pops off.

About RetainerPal

We're an upcoming dental lab in Boulder County. We ship replacement orthodontic retainers directly to consumers — for a fraction of what an orthodontist charges. Real product, real problem, big audience. We're getting ready to launch, and that's where you come in.

The role

This is a hybrid marketing role for someone who's done both sides of the funnel — strategy and creative. You'll help build paid acquisition from scratch, produce the content that fuels it, and use performance data to inform what gets made next. You'll have a real ad budget to test with, which is one of the best parts of this role and will be great for your resume.

What you'll actually do

Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Reddit. Pitch, shoot, edit, and post 4–7 pieces of short-form content per week for TikTok, Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. Be on camera as the face (or one of the faces) of the brand — if you have friends who'd want in on shoots, we'll pay them too. Use ad performance and analytics data to inform creative direction. Manage comments and DMs. Help run our influencer sponsorship (UGC) program. Commute to Erie in Boulder County once or twice a week. Bring strategic and creative ideas. We'll try them.

What we're looking for

  • You must be able to commute to Boulder County
  • Hands-on experience running paid social or search ads — even a small budget on a personal project, club, or internship counts. You can read a campaign dashboard and tell us what's working and why.
  • A genuine feel for short-form video — you watch a lot of TikToks and have made some yourself. You're comfortable on camera. You shoot and edit on a phone with taste. You're fast, curious, and responsive.
  • Basic Canva or graphic design skills — you can make a decent graphic without hand-holding.
  • Marketing, business, advertising, or analytics majors/minors are a strong fit. Comms, journalism, film, and media studies also welcome. Show us your work and your numbers and we'll see what we think.
  • Ideally you've got some track record on both sides — content with views and a campaign you ran, a brand or club account you grew, a side project where you handled both the creative and the spend. No need to have gone viral or managed huge budgets.
  • Strongly preferred: direct experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or TikTok Ads Manager. Shopify, Google Analytics, and Photoshop are pluses.

Logistics

Start date mid-May 2026. 10–15 hrs/week, flexible. Weekly check-in plus 1–2 shoot days in person. We provide gear.
