Coastal Edge is looking for a Marketing Coordinator – Social Media & Events to help grow our digital presence and bring our brand to life through engaging content and community-driven events.

What You’ll Do
- Create and execute social media content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more
- Capture and produce photo and video content (in-store, events, lifestyle)
- Monitor trends, engage with followers, and help grow our audience
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store and community events
- Design graphics and content for social posts, promotions, and ads
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms
- Collaborate with team members, vendors, and local partners
- Track performance and provide insights to improve engagement and reach
Who You Are
- Creative, energetic, and full of ideas
- Passionate about social media, content creation, and storytelling
- Interested in surf, skate, streetwear, or lifestyle brands
- Comfortable being both behind the camera and on the floor capturing content
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects at once
- A strong communicator who enjoys working with people and the community
What You Bring
- Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
- Basic skills in photo/video editing and graphic design
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Understanding of social media trends, engagement strategies, and platform basics
- Ability to attend events and work occasional nights/weekends as needed

Job Details
- Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Job Type: Part-time or Full-time (flexible based on candidate)
- Location: Virginia Beach, VA (in person)
- Schedule: Flexible with some nights/weekends for events
