Marketing Coordinator - Trading Post

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator is a self-driven, execution-focused role responsible for keeping the Trading Post brand, promotions, loyalty programs, and customer-facing messaging accurate and consistent during a growth and rebrand phase. The role ensures marketing is executed correctly across every customer touchpoint, at the pump, on the road, in-store, online, and in the community, and helps build repeatable systems that scale to future stores.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Loyalty & Customer Engagement
  • Manage and optimize loyalty program execution, including enrollment visibility, promotions, troubleshooting, and performance tracking.
  • Promotions & Revenue Initiatives
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute promotional campaigns and limited-time offers to drive sales across core categories; ensure accuracy, readiness, and in-market execution.
  • Digital Signage & In-Store Messaging
  • Maintain and update digital and on-premise messaging (in-store screens, pumps, roadway signage), including content planning and scheduling.
  • Digital Presence & Reputation Management
  • Oversee website updates, Google Business profiles, Yelp, and social media; monitor and respond to reviews; maintain accurate and timely online information.
  • Design & Production
  • Create and update marketing materials using brand standards; manage print-ready files and coordinate with vendors for production.
  • Events & Promotions
  • Support planning and execution of events and in-store activations, including pre-promotion, on-site coordination, and post-event follow-up.
  • Vendor & Co-Op Coordination
  • Partner with vendors to secure promotional support, materials, and co-op opportunities to enhance marketing efforts and reduce costs.
  • Brand Compliance & Standards
  • Ensure all marketing aligns with brand standards and compliance requirements, including approval processes and version control.
  • Store Consistency & Audits
  • Conduct store walkthroughs to maintain brand consistency, update materials, and provide clear guidance to store teams.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Provide regular reporting on loyalty performance, promotions, signage, events, and customer feedback; escalate key issues as needed.

11. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.

12. Maintains confidentiality at all times.

13. Maintains awareness and sensitivity to Native American Culture.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Position Requirements:

  • Strong execution skills
  • Independent ownership
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced multi location environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal oversight
  • Strong organizational habits and comfort using project management tools/systems
  • Working proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator + InDesign required; Photoshop preferred)
  • Social media execution using content management platforms and tracking practices
  • Experience updating website content in WordPress, including page edits, image swaps, basic formatting etc.
  • Comfortable working directly with store teams and supporting on-site execution
  • Able to travel between locations and support light physical setup as needed

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and follow the Squaxin Island Tribe's drug policies.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; or
  • Associate’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience; or
  • High school diploma/GED and 4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications:
