POSITION: Marketing Coordinator/Creative Designer

Reports to: President

POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator/Creative Designer is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining strategies for all marketing efforts and brand aesthetic at Scentsational. This individual is responsible for establishing customer-focused content, supporting the productivity of the business objectives, and collaborating with leadership in all aspects of marketing initiatives. They are also responsible for design concepts in packaging and brand marketing.

POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research, track, and analyze consumer behaviors and trends and implement research into marketing campaigns
  • Execute Scentsational marketing campaigns to outbound customers including Wholesalers, Private Labels, Retail customers, and requested employee engagement events
  • Prepare reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs
  • Collaborate with the President to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques
  • Assist in the development of trends presentations with intense focus on branding cohesiveness and market analysis
  • Design and execute artwork for all programs in conjunction with clients and President
    • Develop mood boards and creative ideations
    • Design layouts, mock-ups and product renderings
    • Create original pattern and illustrations for packaging, as needed
    • Logo design, as needed
    • Implement design feedback and secure approvals
    • Work directly with suppliers on development, final files, and troubleshooting any issues that arise
    • Create and maintain press-ready files
    • Review and approve proofs and printed samples
  • Perform daily creative design work for production and sales needs
  • Field questions, trouble-shoot, & work with packaging vendors to source responsibly and efficiently
  • Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, follow-up, and adapt to quick changes in business needs
  • Ability to execute trends presentations to potential customers
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
  • Ability to analyze consumer metrics, reports, and trends
  • Strong project management and marketing skills
  • Minimal website knowledge to assist with small/quick changes
  • While this position demands in-office attendance on a regular basis, fluctuations to at-home work, for content purposes, may be granted in coordination with supervisor

EDUCATION:


  • Degree in Marketing or Design related field required
  • Minimum 1-year related experience
  • Salary between $75k-$85K
