JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Project and Task Coordination: Work with other members of the Marketing Department to help coordinate the schedule and execution of campaign deliverables and tactics, including outbound collateral (email, print, and web advertising), and events.
- Website Maintenance and Enhancements: Help maintain and curate content on the Bloedorns website, including images, text, and blogs.
- Graphic Design: Create new and update existing graphic designs (digital and physical) to include marketing assets, fliers, social media, website, and event collateral, while ensuring all deliverables follow Corporate brand guidelines.
- Social Media: Work to represent Bloedorns on social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Develop posts and corresponding visuals, respond to comments and interact with followers, and promote Bloedorns content and upcoming events.
- Attend and participate in job knowledge educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizations.
- Attend and participate in Bloedorns-sponsored training, when required.
- Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Marketing Coordinator / Graphic Designer will:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing and graphic design fields.
- Present a digital portfolio demonstrating an understanding of graphic design principles.
- Have experience managing and updating websites (WordPress preferable) and social media accounts.
- Possess experience with graphic design tools, including Adobe® Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator); experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Tools; and experience and familiarity with both Windows and iOS.
- Have working knowledge and experience with email marketing platforms.
- Possess experience in writing copy for ads and various marketing materials.
- Possess in-depth understanding of social media analytics and measuring tools.
- Possess knowledge of paid marketing channels and tools, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, and more), and content distribution and placement.
- Utilize effective time management skills in order to meet deadlines.
- Be receptive in giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Complete and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, background screen, and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The Marketing Coordinator / Graphic Designer will:
- Work in an indoor office setting.
- Occasionally lift/move objects up to 50 pounds, stand, and walk.
- Regularly sit, use hands, reach with arms and hands, talk, and hear.
