Marketing Copywriter

The Washington Pavilion Management, Inc. (WPMI) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Copywriter to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for developing clear, engaging, and audience-focused content across a diverse portfolio of brands and platforms.

From performances and museums to festivals and community initiatives, you’ll play a key role in bringing our stories to life through compelling messaging that connects with a wide range of audiences.

Full-Time | Hourly

What You’ll Do

Content Development & Copywriting

  • Write engaging, audience-first content for websites, email campaigns, social media, print, direct mail, signage, and marketing materials
  • Develop strong headlines, body copy, and calls to action that drive engagement and results
  • Adapt tone and messaging across multiple brands and audiences
  • Ensure consistency with brand voice while tailoring content to each project
  • Proofread and edit content for clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness

Creative Collaboration

  • Partner with designers and social media team members to bring campaigns to life
  • Translate marketing strategies into clear, effective messaging
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and ensure accuracy
  • Maintain organized files and documentation for campaigns and content

Brand Voice & Continuous Improvement

  • Support consistency across all marketing communications
  • Contribute ideas to improve messaging and audience engagement
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining a strong human voice

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in communications, marketing, or related field
  • 1–2 years of professional writing experience (internships welcome)
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to write in a clear, conversational, and engaging tone
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with Monday.com is a plus
