Summary:
The Marketing Department Project Lead will be responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of all marketing, branding, and digital infrastructure initiatives across assigned company markets. This role requires strong leadership, comprehensive knowledge of digital advertising and local SEO/SEM, vendor management, and strict attention to financial oversight and compliance within the garage door service industry.

Reports To: Director of Marketing

Ideal Experience: Experience in the Home Service Industry. Experience with Service Titan Software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy and Leadership

  • Oversee and provide strategic direction for assigned marketing channels, including digital, print, and field marketing.
  • Approve and prioritize marketing initiatives, campaigns, and projects to align with overall company goals.
  • Lead, manage, and provide support to the core marketing team members.

2. Digital Marketing & Local SEO

  • Google Business Profile (GBP) Management: Manage all GBP updates, compliance, and communications with third-party partners (e.g., SteadyDemand) for optimization, verification, and troubleshooting.
  • Advertising Oversight: Oversee Google Ads and Bing Ads campaign monitoring and continuous optimization (keywords, ad copy, bidding strategies, targeting).
  • Verification & Compliance: Manage all Advertiser Verification and Local Services Ads (LSA) processes, including collecting and updating licenses, background checks, vehicle registrations, and insurance documents.
  • Digital Lead Management: Monitor LSA emails and various Discord channels (e.g., Digital Leads Chat) for real-time lead management and issue flagging.

3. Financial Oversight and Reporting

  • Monitor and manage the marketing budget for assigned markets, ensuring efficient spend across assigned campaigns and markets.
  • Approve budget changes and expenditures exceeding $3,000 in coordination with the Director of Operations.
  • Oversee the monthly reporting process, including pulling data from CallRail, Quickbooks, and other sources, tracking individual technician goals, compiling summaries, and presenting a final report to management.
  • Ensure vendor invoices and receipts are tracked, organized, and provided upon request.

4. Acquisitions and New Market Integration

  • Coordinate the marketing transition during new business acquisitions, ensuring the smooth handoff and setup of all digital and physical assets (e.g., GoDaddy domains, Google Business Profiles, Facebook pages, Yelp).
  • Oversee the ServiceTitan setup for new markets, including creating Digital Leads campaigns, setting up memberships, adding new pricebook services, and building audiences for email campaigns.
  • Work with internal teams (Acquisitions and Business Development Team) and external partners to establish new office/warehouse locations, ensuring all necessary licensing, vehicle, and documentation is in place for verification.

5. Vendor and Partner Relations

  • Lead and maintain regular communication with key marketing partners, including Socius (SEO & digital strategy), Birdeye (Reviews/Reputation Management), Yelp (local advertising), and co-op media partners (e.g., Austin for CHI, LiftMaster, Amarr rebates).

6. Team Communication and Development

  • Lead weekly meetings with team members to review performance and next steps.
  • Oversee the training of new technicians on review processes and marketing materials (stickers/QR codes).
  • Manage all necessary inter-departmental communication through Discord channels (e.g., Roadmap, Service Titan, Marketing Reporting).

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
