Marketing Digital & Promotional Specialist

The Digital & Promotional Specialist is accountable to facilitate the creative development of various digital marketing initiatives, aid in the successful execution of print advertising promotions, and assist with execution & distribution of in-store marketing materials & signage. Digital marketing initiatives include social media content creation, email marketing deployment, and ecommerce asset development. This role will interact with internal Category Merchants and graphic designers, store personnel, as well as external media outlets and agency partners. The ideal candidate must be extremely creative, have an excellent eye for detail, and possess great communication & organizational skills.

Key Accountabilities:
Desired Skills & Experience:

• Must have 2-5 years previous experience in Social Media Marketing & content creation
• Must have 2-5 years previous experience in Email Marketing & development
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office with Excel proficiency required
• Strong time management skills a must
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills a must
• Strong ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines a must
• Strong communication skills a must
• Previous video editing experience a plus
• Intermediate knowledge of creative guidelines for ad proofing
• Intermediate knowledge of website maintenance
• Intermediate knowledge of printing and/or flyer production
• Intermediate knowledge of Advertising principles
• Must understand basic budgeting principals
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• 4 year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Graphic Design or equivalent experience

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to work at a computer for the majority of the working day
• Must be able to perform within strict deadlines
• Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate with employees from the C-suite to the store level
• Must be diplomatic, tactful and persuasive in order to reach deadlines
