Job Overview
We seek a creative, dynamic and experienced candidate to join our leadership team as Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of multichannel marketing with an emphasis on digital and experiential marketing in hyper-local markets through B2C service operations. The ideal candidate also has strong content creation skills matched with creativity to drive marketing initiatives and broader business strategy. This role requires innovation, leadership and teamwork. We are a hardworking and small operation that values collaboration, communication and kindness.

About Philly Art Center:
Philly Art Center is a dynamic hub for creativity in the greater Philadelphia region, now in it's 21st year. As a leader in arts educational programming, PAC employs a team of creatives to deliver on it's mission across four locations. Offering a wide range of programming for both kids and adults, PAC operates on the same principles that it seeks to nurture in it's students: creative problem solving, out of the box thinking, collaboration, and innovation.

Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with organizational mission and goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Manage advertising sales initiatives and optimize print advertising campaigns.
  • Utilize Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Lead the creation of engaging content across multiple channels including website (WordPress), social media platforms (Instagram + Facebook), and email campaigns (Mailchimp).
  • Collaborate with program team to ensure alignment with offerings and educational pedagogy
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Project manage, using strong sense for design, with our graphic designer on digital and print collateral, as well as, create in-house digital collateral (Canva).
  • Implement marketing automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Schedule and ensure photography/videography needs for all marketing channels are current and representative of programming.
  • Events management in collaboration with program team.

Requirements

  • Excellent copy-writing skills with the ability to create compelling content that drives engagement.
  • Strong creative skills in both visual design and problem solving.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role with a focus on multichannel strategies.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML for website management tasks.
  • Significant experience with email marketing.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing techniques including SEO, PPC (Google AdWords), and analytical tools.
  • Understand the needs of children, parents, and adult students in relation to arts education.
  • Experiential marketing and events management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred although equivalent experience satisfies this preference.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
