Role Overview

As Marketing Director at Dava, you will own the entire marketing engine across all Dava brands. From cold outreach and SEO to webinars, social strategy, branding, and AI-powered systems — you are the person who makes it all happen. You'll build processes, hire and manage contractors, write high-converting copy, and drive measurable growth across every channel. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a strategy-only seat.

This is an in-house role based in our Orem, Utah office. Travel is required to popular event destinations: Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Dallas, Austin and more. Travel is only a few times per year.

Pay breakdowns:

Dava operates on a bi-weekly 26 paycheck payroll schedule. Starting pay ranges from $1,846 to $2,538 per bi-weekly paycheck.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage our cold email system — tool stack, sequences, deliverability, AI reply agents, and copy
• Build, optimize, and maintain all websites, landing pages, sales funnels, and checkout flows
• Write high-converting copy across funnels, emails, ads, landing pages, and social content
• Develop and execute SEO strategy across all Dava brands
• Lead strategy and execution for webinar funnels and in-person sponsored events
• Maintain and evolve Dava's brand identity, voice, and visual standards across all properties
• Build and manage marketing automations using Zapier and AI-native platforms
• Use and build AI tools and agents to scale marketing output — leveraging AI as a multiplier, not a replacement for judgment
• Hire, manage, and hold accountable a team of freelance contractors (designers, editors, media buyers, writers)
• Build reporting dashboards and track KPIs across all channels
• Collaborate with internal teams across sales, product, and operations

We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of full-stack marketing experience (creator economy, digital education, or SaaS preferred)
• Associate or Bachelors degree in related areas. Or proven track record of succeeding a role like this.
• Proven results managing multi-channel campaigns with measurable outcomes
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Kajabi, Webflow, Canva or similar
• Strong written communication — you write the copy, not just assign it
• Deep understanding of creators, influencers, and the social media landscape
• Excellent branding instincts and an eye for what looks and sounds right
• Type A personality — organized, disciplined, obsessive about follow-through
• Resourceful and self-directed — you identify gaps and fill them without being asked
• Comfortable building processes from scratch in a fast-moving environment
• Strong understanding of creators, influencers, and social media platforms
• Leadership experience
• High emotional intelligence and ability to build trust quickly
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
• Coachable & team-oriented

Monday–Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
