We’re seeking a Marketing & E-Commerce Merchandising Manager to oversee all aspects of website marketing and merchandising across HVLG’s portfolio of brands. This role will be responsible for developing strategies and managing execution to optimize our websites for traffic, engagement, and conversion.

The ideal candidate combines analytical skills with a keen eye for design and user experience. You’ll work closely with our marketing, web development, sales, and product teams to ensure our websites reflect our brand vision while driving measurable growth. Your goal is to improve customer experience, boost online sales, and ensure HVLG websites are beautiful, shoppable, and inspiring.

What You’ll Do:

Website Marketing & Optimization

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase qualified traffic, improve conversion rates, and enhance the customer journey.
  • Manage on-site promotions, homepage refreshes, and seasonal campaigns in collaboration with brand and creative teams.
  • Oversee A/B testing and data analysis to identify opportunities for UX and content improvements.
  • Partner with performance/digital marketing to align paid media, landing page, email, and social media strategies.

Product Merchandising:

  • Develop and manage online merchandising strategies to highlight key products and seasonal collections.
  • Optimize product listings, including descriptions, images, video, and content, to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Analyze and track product performance and make data-driven decisions to improve sales and conversion rates.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to strategize online marketing campaigns, including email, social media, and paid ads.
  • Coordinate with designers and copywriters to ensure high-quality content for product launches and promotions.
  • Coordinate with product photographers, videographers, and the product design/strategy team to ensure key product details are captured in an inspiring and understandable way.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to utilize existing content in new and exciting ways.

Customer Experience Optimization

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and web development teams to improve site navigation, product categorization, and search functions to enhance user experience.
  • Work closely with the web development team to ensure our owned websites are user-friendly and efficient.
  • Monitor customer feedback and website performance metrics to improve the customer journey continuously.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, customer engagement, and sales performance.
  • Provide detailed reports on campaign effectiveness and site performance to senior management.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in online merchandising or digital marketing, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (custom, Shopify, etc.) and online marketing tools (Google Analytics, Hot Jar, SEM, SEO).
  • Strong understanding of the B2B/Designer Trade Industry
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to solving problems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Ability to reliably commute to Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
  • US Citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
