Job Description:
We are seeking a Marketing Data & Reporting Executive to play a key role in consolidating, structuring, and analyzing sales and marketing data from multiple internal and external sources.
This role bridges marketing and commercial functions, ensuring all departments have clear, accurate, and actionable insights on sales performance, promotions, and activations.
Additionally, the position supports trade marketing operations through photo reporting, collateral implementation, and campaign follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Data Management
- Collect sales data from different internal departments and distributors.
- Consolidate and clean data from various formats and sources (Excel, CSV, ERP extracts, etc.).
- Format and standardize datasets for consistency across channels and categories.
- Maintain updated master files and trackers.
2. Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and update daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards — ideally on Power BI (or Excel if needed).
- Develop pivot tables and visual summaries for key stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Management).
- Provide automated and manual reporting to monitor:
- Sales by category, family, product, and channel
- Promotions and activations performance
- Top-performing SKUs and trends
3. Analysis & Insights
- Perform basic analytical tasks such as:
- Month-over-month and year-over-year sales comparisons
- GM% and profitability trend checks
- Product or category contribution analysis
- Price positioning and RSP checks vs competition
- Promotion uplift analysis
- Summarize key takeaways and make basic recommendations:
- Product performance improvement opportunities
- Distribution or visibility gaps
- Promotion or pricing optimizations
- Seasonal performance patterns
4. Marketing & Trade Support
- Update sales and performance reports for specific promotions or activations.
- Prepare photo reporting of in-store executions and marketing activities (PowerPoint format).
- Support the implementation of collaterals (signages, price labels, POS materials).
- Coordinate with sales, merchandising, and creative teams to ensure smooth rollout of trade marketing initiatives.
Profile & Skills
Ideal Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in FMCG, Retail, or Distribution environment.
- Exposure to sales data management and SKU-level reporting.
Technical Skills
- Strong Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, basic charts).
- Knowledge of Power BI (preferred) or other dashboarding tools.
- PowerPoint proficiency for visual reporting.
- Comfortable handling large datasets and multiple data sources.
Soft Skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate numbers into clear insights and actions.
- Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills with cross-functional teams.
