Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Executive to lead our marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in building our brand, driving demand through our channel partners, and strengthening our vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is a "channel-first" marketer who understands the IT distribution landscape and thrives on creating programs that generate measurable ROI and partner loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel Marketing & Partner Enablement:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive channel marketing strategy focused on enabling reseller partners to sell more effectively.
- Launch and manage a partner portal or communication platform for content, resources, and co-marketing opportunities.
- Measure and report on partner engagement and the effectiveness of enablement programs.
2. Vendor & MDF Management:
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for key vendor partners, building strong strategic relationships.
- Proactively develop joint business plans and secure Market Development Funds (MDF) from vendors.
- Manage the end-to-end MDF process: from planning and claim submission to ROI reporting, ensuring compliance and maximization of funds.
- Execute co-branded marketing campaigns and activities with vendor partners.
3. Demand Generation & Campaigns
- Plan and implement multi-touch demand generation campaigns that create leads for our sales team and reseller partners.
- Utilize a mix of digital marketing (SEO/SEM, LinkedIn, Email Nurturing) and traditional channels (events, webinars).
- Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance, focusing on metrics that matter: lead flow, pipeline influence, and partner-activated revenue.
4. Strategic Planning & Brand Management:
- Develop the annual marketing plan and budget, aligned with company sales objectives.
- Define and communicate the company’s unique value proposition across all marketing materials.
- Oversee the company’s digital presence, including website, social media (primarily LinkedIn), and sales collateral.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a channel marketing role preferably IT Distribution, Technology VAR, or a Technology Vendor.
- Proven, hands-on experience with Market Development Funds (MDF) management and vendor relations.
- Strong understanding of the IT channel (B2B2B) dynamics and the ability to market to and through partners.
- Demonstrated success in developing partner enablement tools and co-marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., CRM like Salesforce, Marketing Automation like HubSpot, Google Analytics).
