Marketing & Graphic Design Assistant

Overview:
Kaufman Dolowich LLP, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented graphic designer with 1–3 years of experience to support the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, including presentations, digital content, and multimedia materials, while continuing to grow design and production capabilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Design and produce marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations, brochures, flyers, and client-facing collateral
  • Create digital content such as email templates, social media graphics, and web visuals
  • Assist in the development of visually compelling pitch materials, with a strong focus on presentation design and layout
  • Support basic video and multimedia projects (e.g., editing, formatting, and visual enhancements)
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials by applying firm guidelines and templates
  • Manage updates to marketing materials through an established review and approval process
  • Assist with website and intranet content updates, with an understanding of layout and user experience
  • Support firm events through the creation of on-site and digital materials
  • Maintain organized files, templates, and version control for marketing assets
  • Collaborate with marketing team members and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines and project goals
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a professional services or agency environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern design, including presentation (PowerPoint) and digital work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Canva, email marketing platforms, and basic video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
  • Understanding of digital design best practices, including layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work

Target Hiring Range:
$45,000 - $60,000

Actual compensation will be determined based on market location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Base salary represents just one component of the comprehensive Total Rewards package offered by Kaufman Dolowich, which also includes a discretionary bonus program and a robust benefits offering for full-time employees.
