Role Overview

The Marketing Intern will assist the school’s marketing team in executing on-ground and

offline marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, generate admissions leads, and

build strong community engagement in the target area. This role offers hands-on exposure

to school marketing operations, community outreach, and brand-building activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-School Tie-ups and Data Sourcing

- Identify pre-schools within the designated area and collect relevant student data

(especially LKG and UKG students).

- Support meetings with pre-school principals and owners to build associations and

collaborations.

- Assist in executing engagement initiatives such as sponsoring sports days or annual events

for partner pre-schools.

2. Lead Generation Activities

- Participate in door-to-door (D2D) and leafletting campaigns to promote Vedam World

School.

- Support RWA activities, school stalls, and other field marketing events to drive lead

generation.

- Record all leads and maintain daily entries in the shared Google Tracker Sheet.

3. Follow-Up and Coordination

- Work closely with the Admissions Team to follow up with parents and ensure lead

conversion.

- Track walk-ins and assist in managing inquiry data for smooth follow-up and reporting.

4. Brand Awareness and Promotion

- Support marketing campaigns that enhance the school’s brand image and community

presence.

- Distribute marketing materials and maintain visibility in strategic locations within the

target area.

- Monitor and report on competitor activities and marketing trends.

5. Community Engagement

- Assist in organizing and participating in local education fairs, society events, and

community outreach programs.

- Develop partnerships with local institutions like banks, retail stores, hospitals, and offices

for brand tie-ups.

Requirements

- Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s / Master’s in Marketing, Business

Administration, or related field.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to travel locally for marketing activities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for data entry and reporting.

- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
