Marketing Intern

Ready to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing? Are you creative, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, results-driven marketing team? Applied Marketing Science is seeking a Marketing Intern to support the successful execution of our campaigns, events, and initiatives.

Applicants must be local to the Burlington, MA area.

Schedule begins in April and continues through the summer. This role is well suited for an undergraduate or graduate student with a flexible, online, or asynchronous class schedule. Immediate availability is required for:

• Tuesday (in office) – 9am-5pm (Burlington, MA)
• Wednesday – virtual – 4-8 hours depending on availability
• Thursday – virtual – 4-8 hours depending on availability
• Friday – virtual – 4 hours – may have some flexibility on this day

Responsibilities

Marketing Admin Assistance:

• Provide administrative support to the marketing team and assist in research efforts.
• Assist in executing tasks and marketing projects within campaigns.
• Maintain marketing materials and documentation as requested.
• Opportunities to assist in business development strategy.

Conference & Event Preparation:

• Assist in pre-event logistics and planning as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of marketing activities for conferences, trade shows, and events.
• Assist in post-event management and marketing activities.

Content Creation:

• Work with the marketing team to develop engaging content for various social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to build social presence.

Website Content Management:

• Help to upload and manage content on our company websites and blogs
• Ensure website content is current, accurate, and aligns with marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge/proficiency in Canva design.
• Knowledge of HubSpot CRM (or any other CRM) and WordPress is a bonus.
• Proficiency with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
