Position Summary

The Marketing internship offers hands-on experience in B2B marketing within the healthcare industry, supporting initiatives across product marketing, sales enablement, and brand development. You'll apply what you're learning in the classroom to real-world marketing projects, including creating sales and marketing materials, supporting content initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll gain exposure to how marketing supports business growth in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, where interns have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects, and make a meaningful impact while building professional skills and hands-on experience.

Essential Functions

  • Content DevelopmentActivation:
    • Create and edit presentations for sales, account management, and internal teams, including slide design, formatting, and content updates.
    • Support product marketing and content development, including drafting and editing presentations, product materials, and other marketing collateral.
    • Assist with email marketing initiatives, including building, testing, and launching communications using marketing automation tools (MailChimp).
    • Develop and schedule social media content, primarily on LinkedIn, to support brand awareness, thought leadership goals, and product marketing initiatives.
    • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and gaining exposure to marketing strategy and product positioning.
  • Project Management:
    • Coordinate project timelines and collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure marketing and product-related projects stay on track.
    • Maintain organized marketing files and product assets, ensuring proper documentation, version control, and easy team access.
    • Support trade show and event preparation, including coordinating product materials, organizing supplies, and assisting with shipment logistics.
    • Provide general administrative and project support to the marketing team as needed.
    • Help maintain and update internal communications, including employee intranet content and internal marketing resources.

Required Expertise

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, and interest in marketing and brand development.
  • Ability to learn new tools and follow established marketing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience with design or content tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or similar tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic understanding of B2B marketing, product marketing, content marketing, or sales enablement concepts.
  • Prior internship, class project, or student organization experience related to marketing or communications.
  • Comfort working with content development, presentations, or marketing materials.
  • Bonus: basic understanding of SEO
