Marketing Intern

Job Overview

Colada Shop & 5C Hospitality is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support the execution of brand marketing initiatives across digital, in-store, and experiential channels. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hospitality, culture, storytelling, and community engagement who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced lifestyle brand environment.

The Marketing Intern will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to help bring seasonal campaigns, culinary launches, partnerships, and events to life. From social content creation and trend research to in-store merchandising support and event execution, this position plays an important role in maintaining Colada Shop & 5C Hospitality’s elevated and vibrant brand presence across all guest touchpoints

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing & Social Media

• Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across social media, email, and digital platforms.
• Assist in creating engaging content including photography, short-form video, graphics, captions, and written copy aligned with Colada Shop & 5C Hospitality’s brand voice and visual standards.
• Help manage and organize social content calendars and campaign timelines.
• Monitor social media trends, hospitality trends, and consumer insights to inform content strategy and identify new opportunities for engagement.
• Support influencer partnerships and community collaborations through outreach, coordination, and communication.
• Contribute to email marketing initiatives including content development, asset coordination, and campaign preparation.

Brand & In-Store Marketing

• Assist with the design, organization, distribution, and installation of printed brand assets, promotional materials, and store visuals across all locations.
• Support the execution of seasonal in-store campaigns, menu launches, and branded merchandising initiatives.
• Help maintain consistency and quality across all guest-facing brand touchpoints to ensure alignment with Colada Shop & 5C Hospitality’s premium hospitality experience.
• Coordinate inventory and organization of marketing materials and branded collateral.

Events & Community Engagement

• Support the planning and execution of marketing events, community activations, partnerships, and brand experiences.
• Assist with event logistics including marketing collateral preparation, vendor coordination, setup, and on-site support.
• Help create elevated guest experiences that strengthen community relationships and brand affinity.

Partnerships & Communications

• Collaborate with local partners, creators, and community organizations to support marketing initiatives and special programming.
• Assist in coordinating communications with public relations partners and external collaborators.
• Support cross-functional communication between marketing, operations, and partner teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
• Provide general administrative and project support for the marketing department as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Strong interest in hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle branding, and social media marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with dynamic priorities.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar creative tools is a plus.
• Photography, video editing, and content creation skills are highly preferred.
• Availability to support occasional evenings or weekends for events and activations.
