Part-Time Marketing Intern

Yoder Law, a Lexington-based personal injury law firm, is seeking a creative and dependable Part-Time Marketing Intern to assist with social media, content creation, and community-focused marketing efforts.

This is a paid, hourly position offering hands-on experience in legal marketing, digital content, and small-business brand development. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who understands social media trends and can help create engaging content that connects with people throughout Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
• Develop graphics, short-form videos, captions, and other digital content
• Help maintain a consistent and professional brand voice
• Brainstorm social media campaigns and content ideas
• Assist with blog posts, website content, newsletters, and marketing materials
• Photograph or record firm events, community activities, and promotional content
• Monitor social media engagement and assist with responding to comments and messages
• Track basic marketing and social media performance
• Research legal-marketing trends, local events, and community partnership opportunities
• Assist with other marketing projects as needed

Qualifications

• Current college student or recent graduate studying marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, graphic design, or a related field
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, or similar platforms
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video-editing software, or social media scheduling tools is preferred
• Creative, organized, dependable, and able to work independently
• Comfortable appearing in or helping produce photo and video content
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
• Interest in marketing, law, small business, or community engagement

• Some work may be completed remotely, depending on the project
