Marketing Intern (Fashion)

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and creative Fashion Marketing Intern to join our growing brand team. This internship is focused on influencer marketing, B2B marketing, and brand development for GOM Athleisure, a premium sportswear and lifestyle brand.

The ideal candidate is interested in fashion, wellness, social media, and brand-building, and is eager to gain hands-on experience in growing a modern consumer brand. You will support influencer outreach, brand partnerships, community-building, wholesale/B2B opportunities, and marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and visibility.

Duties

  • Assist with influencer marketing outreach, including researching potential influencers, creators, ambassadors, and UGC partners
  • Help manage influencer communication, gifting coordination, follow-ups, and content tracking
  • Research and identify potential B2B partnership opportunities, including fitness studios, yoga/Pilates studios, wellness spaces, boutiques, hotels, spas, and event partners
  • Support outreach to potential wholesale, retail, and brand partnership contacts
  • Assist in developing brand partnership proposals, outreach emails, and marketing materials
  • Conduct market research on competitors, industry trends, target customers, and brand positioning
  • Support brand awareness campaigns, community events, pop-ups, and wellness-related activations
  • Help organize influencer lists, partnership leads, outreach status, and campaign results
  • Assist with social media and content ideas that support influencer campaigns and brand storytelling
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for brand campaigns, collaborations, and creative marketing strategies
  • Support day-to-day marketing tasks as needed to help grow the brand’s presence online and offline

Skills

  • Strong interest in fashion, athleisure, wellness, influencer marketing, and branding
  • Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, influencer culture, and digital marketing trends
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially for outreach emails, DMs, and brand messaging
  • Strong research skills and ability to identify relevant influencers, brands, studios, and partnership opportunities
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage lists, follow-ups, and campaign information
  • Creative mindset with an interest in brand storytelling and community-building
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with Canva, Google Sheets, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, or social media tools is a plus
  • Previous experience in marketing, influencer outreach, fashion, retail, or events is a plus, but not required

Internship Opportunity

This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build real-world experience in fashion marketing, influencer partnerships, B2B outreach, and brand development. You will work closely with the brand team and gain hands-on exposure to how a premium fashion and lifestyle brand grows its audience, partnerships, and market presence.

Pay: $16.00 - $26.67 per hour
