About the Startup

We’re building a technology-enabled franchise accounting services company inside Tu Companies. We’ll support multi-unit, multi-state operators with bookkeeping, payroll, month-end close, and advisory - standardized for speed and clarity.

Who we serve: Franchise operators across hospitality, fitness, QSR, health & wellness, and other consumer services.

TuCo is a hospitality management company focused on operating and scaling legacy franchise brands with strong unit economics. We employ 500+ team members across 3 states and manage $35M+ in annual revenue - giving interns exposure to operators who build real businesses.

Mission

Help franchise operators make faster, better decisions by standardizing the accounting backbone (COA, payroll workflows, close cadence, reporting) and delivering clear, timely financials.

Role Overview (Account Manager Track)

Operate as a marketing generalist with an account-manager mindset - shape the brand and keep projects moving.

What You’ll Do

  • Build a professional pitch deck that communicates vision, services, ICPs, and value prop.
  • Help launch a lightweight website (Webflow/Wix/Squarespace/WordPress).
  • Create collateral: one-pagers, case studies, email templates, social assets.
  • Draft a 12-week content calendar; schedule posts (Hootsuite/Buffer/Later).
  • Shape brand voice, messaging, and positioning; maintain a simple brand kit.
  • Conduct competitive research and recommend differentiation.
  • Act as internal account manager: run weekly standups and track deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Coursework/experience in marketing, communications, or design.
  • Content creation + basic design skills (Canva/CapCut/Adobe).
  • Familiarity with social scheduling tools (Hootsuite/Buffer/Later).
  • Strong writing; organized, reliable.
  • Sales experience is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Basic web tooling/SEO fundamentals.
  • CRM/email (HubSpot/Mailchimp).
  • B2B storytelling and landing-page copy.

Job Type: Internship

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
