About the Program

Join us for a 12-week, hands-on internship experience where you’ll gain real-world exposure to the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects that drive impact Boyd Jones Construction. Our interns are not here to “just observe” you’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, sharpen your skills, and leave with tangible accomplishments to add to your resume.

What You’ll Gain

Key Responsibilities…

Assist in preparing client proposals and RFP responses, including copywriting, layout design, and coordination with internal teams.
Support the client interview process through presentation design, messaging, and creative input.
Create and edit designs, concepts, and messaging that support company branding and business development goals.
Collaborate with marketing and business development staff to ensure brand integrity across all materials.
Visit job sites to capture photography and video content; help maintain the company’s media library.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative strategy discussions.
Support other marketing projects and initiatives as assigned.

What you’ll bring…

Current enrollment in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Willingness to learn about the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.

Work Environment

Office-based role with occasional visits to job sites for content gathering.
Standard business hours with occasional flexibility to meet project deadlines.
