Marketing Lead (Female Candidates Only)

About Us

The Indian Association for the Blind (IAB), established in 1985, is a leading NGO working to empower visually challenged individuals through education, training, and employment. We are looking for a proactive and people-friendly School & College Outreach Lead to guide a small team and manage our education outreach campaigns.

Role Summary

The Outreach Lead will connect with schools and colleges across Tamil Nadu (mainly by calls and emails), build relationships with principals/management, and encourage their participation in our campaigns. She will also guide a team of 3 members and report to the Project Lead. This role requires strong communication, coordination, and marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with schools and colleges through calls, emails, and follow-ups to introduce IAB projects.
• Guide and monitor a team of 3 outreach staff to achieve targets.
• Maintain good relationships with school/college management and staff.
• Ensure proper documentation of contributions, acknowledgments, and reports.
• Plan and coordinate outreach visits, meetings, and communication campaigns.
• Work closely with the Project Lead to achieve project goals.
• Maintain clear communication and accurate reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (Marketing / Management preferred).
• 3–5 years experience in outreach, marketing, sales, or admin roles.
• Excellent communication skills (English & Tamil).
• Good email writing and tele-calling skills.
• Ability to guide a small team and motivate them.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email).
• Target-driven, well-organized, and committed.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Female candidates only.
• Willing to commute daily (5 km from Maatuthavani Bus stand) or relocate near campus.
• Prior experience in NGO/outreach/education sector is an added advantage.
• Passion for working in a social sector role.

Work Schedule

• Day shift, Monday–Saturday (Sunday off) - 9am to 6pm
• Location: IAB campus, Madurai
