Marketing Lead for Grains & Food

As the Marketing Lead for Grains & Food, you will be a crucial member of our marketing team, responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to support the growth of our business in the region.

You will work closely with the sales department to ensure our marketing efforts align with their objectives and contribute to our overall success. In addition, you will manage one direct report, a Marketing Communications Specialist, who will assist you in achieving our marketing goals.

Your actions will aim at targeting, reaching and nurturing existing and potential B2B customers across the entire portfolio of Bühler solutions, contributing to the sales of engineered plants, stand alone machines, digital products and after sales services.

This is where you'll excel
  • Strategic Marketing Planning: develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans tailored to the SEA region, aligning with overall company goals and strategies and encompassing a mix of online and offline initiatives.
  • Collaboration with Sales: work closely with the sales teams to understand their objectives and needs and ensure marketing strategies support the sales funnel, drive leads, and ultimately contribute to revenue growth.
  • Market Research and Analysis: in collaboration with the Market Intelligence team, conduct market research to identify market trends, competition, and customer behavior and use this information to make data driven decisions and refine marketing strategies.
  • Budget Management: develop and manage the marketing budget for the SEA region, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Campaign Management: oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including content creation, digital marketing, events, and promotions, to effectively target regional audiences.
  • Performance Measurement: establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives and regularly analyze and report on results, adjusting as needed to optimise marketing efforts.
  • Vendor and Agency Management: collaborate with external vendors and marketing agencies to execute marketing strategies effectively when necessary.
These are the skills you'll need
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Communication, or Management
  • Proven experience in strategic marketing planning, with a minimum of 5 years in a marketing execution role in B2B or B2C marketing, including event and digital marketing experience
  • Good experience in business development
  • Proficiency in English
