Role & responsibilities
Clares is seeking an experienced and driven Marketing Lead to head its marketing function. This is a strategic and hands on role that will be directly responsible for generating high-quality leads for the sales team, driving measurable marketing outcomes, and building a scalable and data-driven marketing engine.
The Marketing Lead will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
- Designing and managing lead generation campaigns across digital, content, and event-based channels. Experience of having used the latest technology like AI to drive success including any certification will be preferred.
- Implementing marketing automation and CRM tools to ensure lead capture, nurturing, and tracking.
- Establishing key marketing metrics and reporting frameworks to demonstrate performance and ROI.
- Collaborating closely with Sales leadership to continuously optimize marketing contribution to the sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate will bring both creativity and analytical rigor to the role and will be accountable for demonstrating the marketing team's tangible impact on business growth.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in science or commerce. MBA is preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the IT / ERP / SaaS / consulting services sector. Experience of Microsoft DX ecosystem will be preferred.
- Proven track record of designing and executing lead generation programs that deliver measurable results.
- Strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing channels.
- Experience in building marketing metrics dashboards and using data to drive decisions.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and external vendors/agencies.
