Marketing & Leasing Lead

Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a go-getter to enhance our leasing and marketing experience. We’re not a traditional corporate real estate firm, and we’re not looking for someone with traditional real estate marketing experience. Hunger to have an impact, resourcefulness, and the ability to engage and speak to your audience are traits that will lead to success in this role which is part creative and part closer.

Like us, your background and experience may be untraditional, but you’ve developed a real instinct for people and for what makes spaces or products look their best and sell.

You’ll bring our properties to life through compelling listing content, in-person showings, and any other content that helps us stand out. You’ll work closely with our Senior Leasing Rep, a partner in our firm, and follow their lead regarding all broker marketing efforts. For everything else outside of leasing, you’ll report to the VP of Operations. You’ll also have one direct report, a Marketing Coordinator, who you’ll work closely with to strengthen our marketing efforts.

Finally, you’ll bring the kind of good energy to your work that makes people feel welcome and want to work alongside you every day. Energy and attitudes are contagious.

What You’ll Do

Leasing Support & Showings

  • Follow up on leasing leads by phone and email within 24 hours.
  • Represent our properties with confidence during in-person showings, particularly for retail, tech, and hospitality prospects.
  • Draft and refine LOIs using established templates with guidance from our Senior Leasing Rep.
  • Show up prepared, present well, and follow through to convert the right leads to the right tenants.

Property Listing Content Strategy and Execution

  • Own the strategy and execution for what a compelling, complete property listing looks like. That may mean getting hands-on with photography, video, and copywriting to capture the character of each property, not just square footage and amenities. Leverage any resource available to you, be it people, software, or AI, to bring your vision to life.
  • You’ll use your own judgment to decide what to own and what to collaborate with and/or delegate to the Marketing Coordinator based on the type and level of work required.

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Proactively identify and pursue qualified leasing and events leads. Think creatively about where the right tenants and partners are and go find them.

Special Events & Activations

  • Provide guidance to the marketing coordinator on the response and strategy for special event inquiries from full property buyouts to short-term production rentals. Support efforts to filter the right leads, coordinate logistics, and help us build repeatable, marketable events offering that scale.

Brand & Design Execution

  • Design and produce marketing assets across digital and print using InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, ChatGPT, and/or Claude Design. Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints. You have an eye and the software chops to back it up.

Marketing Coordinator Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and give clear direction to your direct report.
  • Provide the feedback and structure that helps them grow and helps the team move faster. You lead and earn respect by doing, not just by delegating.

Role & Candidate Requirements

  • 7–10 years of professional experience, ideally in marketing, sales, leasing, events, or a related field. This is not an entry level position.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and content creation.
  • Experience with tailoring messaging to your audience.
  • Experience selling and closing deals.
  • Experience with leasing documentation and LOI processes, or similar relevant experience and the ability to get up to speed quickly. Prior exposure through hospitality ops, retail coordination, venue management, or similar non-traditional paths is welcome.
  • Experience generating and qualifying leads, whether through outreach, marketing campaigns, or relationship-building.
  • Hands-on design experience with InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop. Canva is ok too, but should not be the only design software experience in your toolkit.
  • Proven ability to manage others and give clear, constructive feedback.
  • High attention to detail, especially when it comes to documentation, contracts, and client-facing emails and other materials.
  • Experience with MailChimp or similar email campaign software.
  • Experience with Google Workspace (Drive, Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc.).
  • Experience with LoopNet and/or CoStar is a plus.
  • Experience leveraging AI for relevant use cases is a plus.
  • A presence that makes people feel welcome and a confidence that makes them trust you.
